In the past, grappling with financial difficulties as a single mother, I was fortunate to acquire housing through the Montgomery County MPDU Program. This program allowed me to raise my children in a safe and stable household. Learning of Klein Hornig’s mission resonated perfectly with my personal commitments to actively contribute to programs that directly benefited my family. I consider myself fortunate to be able to work alongside such a dedicated and passionate team.
Tammy Layman is a seasoned legal assistant at Klein Hornig. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, particularly with her background in settlement processing, post-closing, homebuilder and land transactional real estate contracts. She has an in-depth understanding of the deal process and of the intricate mechanics required for overseeing complex, multi-funded transactions that often involve bonds, grants, and tax credits. In addition to supporting Klein Hornig attorneys and paralegals with document management, she assists with RAD and HUD submissions, as well as preparing and tracking TOPA notices.
Contributing to a meaningful solution that addresses the essential human need for shelter and playing a role in building a more equitable and compassionate society serves as a genuine source of motivation and inspiration for me.
