A passion of mine is working with the homeless and low-income communities throughout my neighborhood and Washington, DC. This passion aligns very well with Klein Hornig’s mission. Everyone deserves to live life with dignity and part of that dignity includes having a quality and stable home. Affordable housing provides that for those who have fallen on hard times, and I am grateful to be a part of a firm that focuses on addressing this fundamental issue.
As a Legal Assistant at Klein Hornig, Chris Dickson utilizes his 13+ years of experience in real estate to assist attorneys and paralegals in all aspects of an affordable housing transaction. Chris regularly compiles opinions and memos and assists with drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents and closing binders. Chris also provides additional administrative support, as needed.
Prior to joining Klein Hornig, Chris worked for a commercial lender that primarily financed investment properties throughout the DC Metro area. During his tenure, he was a driving-force in closing hundreds of loans in a transactional based capacity, while also providing valuable insight into improving overall operations of the company.
He also gained valuable experience working for a commercial real estate firm in downtown Washington, D.C., where he assisted in closing HUD-insured loans for multifamily, assisted living, and hospital projects located throughout the country.
