Klein Hornig is strongly committed to addressing one of society’s most pressing issues—the lack of affordable housing. Knowing that the firm cares and makes a difference gives me a sense of purpose every day.

Barbara Darby is the IT Training and Applications Support Specialist at Klein Hornig. She serves as the bridge between technology and the attorneys/staff. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring everyone is equipped with the necessary skills to effectively use the applications and information technology systems available.

Barbara develops and conducts trainings, provides documentation and technical assistance, and troubleshoots technical issues as they arise. She also gathers feedback and offers best practices for using the firms’ various applications. Barbara collaborates directly with the Director of IT and Operations to recommend the appropriate software necessary to assist Klein Hornig attorneys/staff. She also works directly with the firm’s management team to meet the overall needs of the firm. Barbara has over 20+ years of experience in the legal technology environment and brings a great deal of knowledge and guidance to the firm.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service to others.”

Outside of work, my passion lies in exploring, strolling, and capturing moments through photography. I'm particularly drawn to destinations with water vistas, such as Greece, Aruba, and Liberia. Being an outdoors enthusiast, you'll often find me hiking in Maryland's parks or wherever my travels take me. My trusty camera, now typically my phone, is a constant companion, documenting people, objects, and architecture along the way. Additionally, I dedicate time to volunteering with various non-profit organizations, aiming to support those in need and give back to the community.
